“A magnificent personal inventory tool. Master your clutter the minimalist way!” – WIRED

Regrets and favorite items. How much do they weight in your inventory?

Your inventory, in a simplified approach, may consist of 3 types of stuff: regular objects, favorites, and regretted ones. In the Byebye app, you have the opportunity to mark the last two types accordingly, to keep track of them separately.

HOW CAN I DO THAT?

Mark an item as “Favorite”: in any list, you can tap on the “heart” icon, next to the item’s name, to mark it as a favorite (details at Byebye.io/Favorite). It will also show up in the list’s header.

Mark an item as “Regret”: on the item’s page, you can switch on the Regret button, to mark it accordingly (a reason for that move will be required on the next screen). That will be visible in the list’s header, with an impact in the first tab of the STATS section as well (details at  Byebye.io/Regret).

WHY SHOULD I DO THAT?

The Favorites give you a cool state of mind, they will remind you of how inspired you’ve been purchasing them. They could be also an inspiration for other people following your list.

On the other hand, a high percentage of Regrets (the number of items or their value) might show you the opposite. Maybe is time for a decluttering session?

DIDN’T GET STARTED WITH YOUR INVENTORY YET?

If your inventory is still empty, edit the default items you start with when you sign in or delete them, and start fresh with your new entries.

Hint: don’t know what to start with? Get inspired by others, check out the PEOPLE section!
