“A magnificent personal inventory tool. Master your clutter the minimalist way!” – WIRED

The Minimalists and their “30/30 Rule”

One of the most popular characters in the expanded circle of minimalists, Joshua Fields-Millburn, came with a personal approach to shopping:

If something I want costs more than $30, I ask myself whether I can get by without it for the next 30 hours. Hence, “the 30/30 Rule.” If it’s $100 or more, I tend to wait 30 days.

We created a tool for that, so let’s talk about the Timer on your Wishlist. (find out how to add an item to your Wishlist, HERE).

When you add a new item to your wishlist, you can set up a timer. That’s how you can test the hypothesis above.

One of the reasons to set up a timer is to check if the JFM’s rule makes sense for you or not 🙂

When the time is up, it’s up to you to choose one of the three options: move the item in your inventory (if you purchased it), snooze (set up another due date), or delete it, if you don’t want it.

That’s it, until next time, take care and stay safe, drop us a 5-stars review, and invite all your friends to give Byebye a try!

Byebye!
